Mr. Arvind Karandikar is a Technical Advisor and Consultant to several rooftop solar photovoltaic projects and programmes undertaken by multilateral agencies and governments such as the World Bank, European Union, USAID, GIZ as well as private and public sector companies. In addition, Mr. Karandikar is also a regular faculty for trainings at the National Institute of Solar Energy (NISE, an Autonomous Body of the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy, Govt. of India) as well as Gujarat Energy Research and Management Institute (GERMI).

Mr.Toine van Megen represents Auroville Consulting, which provides multi-disciplinary expertise to project developers, manufacturers and policy makers undertaking ecologically responsible development projects in areas of renewable energy, waste management, green buildings, water harvesting, landscaping, organic food and awareness campaigns. In the area of rooftop solar photovoltaics, Auroville Consulting has extensive experience and expertise in research & innovation, strategic & operational planning, implementation, communication, documentation & design, policy advisory and capacity building.

Mr. Tanmay Bishnoi specialized in solar photovoltaic power plant design, engineering, energy yield assessment, financial analysis and energy economics, performance audit and plant optimization. He is a Consultant Trainer with the Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME, Govt. of India) and a Capacity Building Specialist/ Master Trainer/ Solar Photovoltaic Consultant at the National Institute of Solar Energy (NISE). He is also and Empanelled Solar Consultant with the Asian Development Bank (ADB). Mr. Bishnoi is a Civil Engineer from National Institute of Technology (NIT) Warangal,who did his masters from Kingston University London, and specialized in Energy Innovation and Emerging Technologies from Stanford University USA. He is a qualified Galileo Master Certificate (GMC) holder in ‘Energy Efficiency in Buildings’ and ‘Renewable Energy Management & Finance’, and a certified Solar Designer by the European Union Energy Centre.

Mr. Shyam Sundar NS heads the business development, system design, inverter localization, manufacture facility establishment and training at Studer Innotec India Pvt. Ltd. He has an extensive experience working in companies such as AEG Power Solutions, Wipro Eco Energy and Shell Solar India in various capacities ranging from MW-scale, rooftop, BIPV and solar thermal project management, system engineering, and product engineering. Mr. Shyam Sundar also has an extensive experience in training for technicians as well as professionals.

Mr. Shailender Rana has more than 11 years of experience in marketing, sales & human capital across various industries like FMCG, retail, information technology, financial services, telecom and NGOs at all levels in India. He has trained client employees on presentation skills, business communication, customer relationship management, leadership & motivation, stress free productivity, mind management, team building, time management, effective selling, yoga and meditation. Some of his clients include Credit Suisse, Amazon, Aditya Birla Group, Bajaj Finserv, HP India, OTIS Elevators and the Art of Living. Mr. Rana’s educational background includes an MBA from IIM-K and a B.Tech degree in Electronic & Communications.

With more than 10 years of rich and first hand experience in Renewable Energy sector, he has developed a patented technology of Dual Axis solar tracking system. This innovative Sun tracking technology can be utilized in Solar PV power generation, small heliostat for day lighting and also in sun concentrator for solar thermal application.

He has also worked as a machine fabricator and well versed in manufacturing of all types of module mounting structures. He has worked with Spanish company M/s Aliter and Mumbai based M/s Startling Solar and executed various activities related to solar PV park development, like DPR preparation, land selection, soil testing, cost effective land levelling and other EPC related work. He has also installed around 50 rooftop solar PV plants of different sizes in Madhya Pradesh.

He has developed course content and Renewable Energy lab for Solar PV Training programs as per the guidelines of NISE & Sector Skill Council for Green Jobs for “Suryamitra yojna”, and providing his services as a Subject Matter Expert lecturer in various universities and polytechnic colleges. Abhinav is a certified system integrator by Galileo master’s certification UK and Bachelors of Engineering in Mechanical.

July 2001 to May 2004 : Started Career as a GET –Electrical in a Consultancy Firm Sheth Techno Consultants Pvt. Ltd. In a span of 3 years, promoted twice. June 2004 to June 2006 : Appointed by Powertrans Electric Company for the Electrotherm’s Bahrain Project. Soon after the completion of project, got appointed by Electrotherm. July 2006 to October 2011 : Leading the Engineering & Project (E&P) division of ELECTROTHERM for the Electrical needs. Direct Reporting to General Manager. During official span of 6 Years, promoted Thrice. Anchored the E&P division for the EPC job. Many overseas job designed, executed. To name a few IRAQ (Erbil Steel Co.), TURKEY (Mega Demir, Ilhan Metallurgy & Deniz LLC), UAE (HYL Project for Al-Naser Group), KSA (Hill Metal). P. N. Kapil completed Bachelors in Engineering from Electrical Engineering Department at Sankalchand Patel College of Engineering, Visnagar under Hemchandracharya North Gujarat University, Patan in May 2007 and subsequently pursued and completed Masters in Technology (M.Tech.) in Electrical Engineering with specialization in Power Apparatus and Systems from Institute of Technology, Nirma University in May 2009. Prof. P. N. Kapil has published 14 papers in various National / International Conferences and has published 01 paper as book chapter in a book published by Springer, India and has guided 22 M.Tech. dissertation thesis. He has keen interest in guiding students in various project competitions as well as engaging more students in student-student mentorship in project based activity or learning for better development of work ethics as well as engineering concepts. Currently Prof. P. N. Kapil is working as Assistant Professor in Electrical Engineering Department, Institute of Technology, Nirma University since 29th June 2009 and pursuing Ph.D. as a Part Time Research Scholar from EE Department, School of Technology, Pandit Deendayal Petroleum University, Gandhinagar.

Mr. Dharmik Lay holds the position of Dy. General Manager (HR &Admin) in GERMI. He has an experience of overall 22 years. Earlier around 13 years he has worked with Project Management Consulting Engineering Company “Dorsch Gruppe” - a leading consulting organization operating in various sectors like oil & gas, roads/highways, bridges, buildings, industrial projects and airports for PSU’s of Govt of India, Govt of Gujarat & GSPC group companies.

He joined GERMI in July 2013 as a Deputy Manager in HR-Admin Dept. He is very Effective and an Efficient supporter in Administrative Services execution & supports to training dept. & operations also.

In between, he was seconded in GSPC admin Dept for around 2.5 years.

Ms. Narinderjit Kaur Sethi is Sr. Manager-HR & Admin at GERMI. Ms. Narinderjit Kaur Sethi has rich and varied experience and has served UN agency, International as well as the National Non-Government agencies like UNICEF, Spanish Red Cross, Water and Sanitation Management Organisation and Handicap International on the issue of Primary Education, Health, Natural Resource Management, Water Resource Management, Main streaming Disability Issues, Inclusion of Persons with Disabilities .She is a skilled resource in community mobilization initiatives and Participatory Rural Appraisals.

Her Bachelors qualification is in Arts (Psychology) with distinction and has a Masters is in Social Sciences from M. S. University of Vadodara. She also holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Industrial Relations and Personnel Management and is presently pursuing Masters in Business Management.

Currently she is spearheading Training Initiative of GERMI. Her work involves Liaison and coordination with Government and other agencies.

Ms. Krupali Mehta is working as a Manager with the HR & Admin at GERMI. She has overall 12 years of work experience in the field. She completed her Master's Degree in Mass Communication and Journalism, post Bachelor's degree in Business and Commerce.

Mr. Bhavyajitsinh Hada is working as a Manager (IT-Admin) in GERMI, Gandhinagar, Gujarat

Mr. Hada has been associated with GERMI since March 2013. Mr. Hada look after all IT activity in GERMI like Management, Maintainance and updating of the Data Storage Room, Hi-end Servers, SAN Storage, Tape Library, Network Designing, implementation and Maintainance all IT infrastructure.

Mr. Bhavyajitsinh Hada holds Bachelor's Degree in Literature from Gujarat University, holds a Diploma in Electricals, Jetking Computer Hardware & Networking Professionals (JCHNP) and Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) with over 13 years of experience in the IT field.

Mrs. Sandhya Radhakrishnan is Dy. Manager-HR & Admin in GERMI.

She has bachelor degree in Economics from Calicut University, Kerala & completed her Diploma in Computer Application in Gandhinagar. She is pursuing her MBA with specialization in HR from IICT, Lucknow. She has four years of experience in the field of administration.

Mrs. Sunita Gamit is an Asst. Manager in GERMI.

She holds post graduate degree in literature from Gujarat University and also has knowledge of DTP & MS Office.

Mr. Nilesh Patel is working as a Dy. Manager-HR & Admin GERMI, Gandhinagar, Gujarat, India. He did his Bachelor of Commerce in 2004 from Gujarat University. Since May, 2006, he has been working in GERMI and deputed in construction project division to assist to the Construction Site In-charge. He is also supervising the construction activity with respect to the quality as directed by the Site Incharge. The project team had completed as on date the project worth more than 100 Cr. & created State of the Art Institutional infrastructure to facilitate more than 1800 students in the PDPU Campus .

Mr. Viral Mistry is working as Dy. Manager-Finance in GERMI since November 2012. He has experience in the field of Accounts, Finance and Audit.

He has done his Bachelor of Commerce in 2006 from Gujarat University.

Mr. Dushyantsinh Gohil is working as an Asst. Manager-Finance at GERMI since June 2016. He has 3 years of experience with MUTHOOT FINANCE prior to joining GERMI.

He has done his Bachelor of Commerce in 2012 from Gujarat University.
