Mr.Giovanni Paccaloni, President Society of Petroleum Engineers visited GERMI on Monday, 28 th November 2005 to interact with GSPC staff and delivered a lecture on “ Role of Young Professional in E & P Sector”.
Society of Petroleum Engineers is SPE is a member-run organization with more than 64,000 E & P professionals across 110 countries. It was founded in 1957 at USA with 12,500 members. SPE ‘s mission is To collect, disseminate, and exchange technical knowledge concerning the exploration, development and production of oil and gas resources, and related technologies for the public benefit; and to provide opportunities for professionals to enhance their technical and professional competence.
Mr. Giovanni Paccaloni, President, SPE visited along with Mr. Ross Davidson, SPE Middle East Director and SPE India Section Office Bearer. Mr. Giovanni Paccaloni has delivered a lecture on “ Role of Young Professional in E & P Sector” and emphasized on giving more opportunities to young professionals for innovation. He also given examples of worldwide trends of technology innovation with help of knowledge of Young professional. He requested to senior officials to take a role of Mentor and pass on invaluable knowledge acquired to next the generation young professional. He has also given information about Mission, Vision and values of SPE. |
