The induction program for new joinee at GSPC-II was organized for five days between 5-10 December 2005. The Induction Program was divided into three parts.
GSPC Group Overview – Representive of each company had made detail presentation about Company History & Business Operations.
Oil & Natural Gas Business Value chain– presentation form various department was made giving in-depth understanding of Upstream, Midstream and downstream sector of Oil & Gas Industry.

Upstream Sector Presentation included Acquisition of Oil & Gas block, collection of survey data, Geological & Geophysical interpretation of data, Exploration, Drilling & Production. |

Midstream Sector presentation included transportation of Gas & Oil and Sales contract Management. |

Down Stream Sector presentation included Industrial and domestic distribution of gas. |
ERP Overview: In view of recent implementation of mySAP ERP module, introductory training was given by GSPC IT and TCS team to all the participant.
Site Visit: After a briefing session site visit was arranged to have understanding of operational activities at different location and GSPC facilities. Participants visited City Gas Distribution Center- Vatva, Gas Station -Baroda, Dholka EPS facility, Satellite Earth Station at Science City, CNG Station at Ichhapur, LBDP at Hazira, Gas Station and Power plant at Mora. This site tour helped participant to understand GSPC Group's operation and importance of Gas based Economy of Gujarat. |
